Where do you belong?

I’ve never really fit into any of the standard molds of modern society. I always felt like a bit of a misfit. But the older I get the more I realize that, really, no one fits these molds.

The more I allow my creativity and uniqueness to flourish, the more I want to create safe spaces for others to do the same.

This is really the big vision behind the myofascial yoga program.

I wanted to create a program for the creative thinkers, innovators, visionaries, and anyone who feels like they don’t fit into the standard molds.

My intention was always to create a safe space for those of us who fell through the cracks in traditional academia. Not because we weren’t smart enough for it, but because our thinking style was too different to fit. Because our way of making sense of complex concepts was too big to fit into a too tight container.

My dream in creating a yoga school was inventing a learning space where neurodivergent humans could thrive. I love yoga for so many reasons but one of the biggest is its emphasis on wholeness and the integration of opposites. These are concepts that I believe our world to be in desperate need of, and ones that also tend to come easily to neurodivergent brains.

If this is starting sound like home to you, I want you to know you are welcome here.

I want all your superpowers to shine. I believe there is an untapped genius inside every human just waiting for the right environment to tease them out. And the main ingredients of this environment are compassionate understanding of our uniqueness and an invitation for creativity to bloom.

As Albert Einstein once said:

“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”

So come join our community of fish and learn how to make the most beautiful patterns in water. You were never meant to climb trees. You were meant to swim. Or fly. Or paint. Or…whatever it is that allows you to shine.
