An Introduction to Myofascial Yoga
In this workshop you will:
~ Understand the many principles of Myofascial Yoga, and how to incorporate it into your current yoga (and life!) practice
~ Deepen into an effective mindfulness meditation practice
~ Integrate mindfulness and body awareness into your everyday life
~ Discover how to unwind and heal both your body and mind
~ Learn the basics of trauma theory, and how it relates to your fascial system
~ Give yourself new and powerful tools for living an empowered and harmonious life
This workshop is for anyone who is interested in Myofascial Yoga, meditation, self-improvement, or yoga teacher training. It is one of the foundational modules of our 200-hour self-paced Fascia Yoga Teacher Training Program. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance from the Yoga Alliance registered ‘Myofascial Yoga Institute of Canada.’
The program is open to everyone from beginner students to advanced instructors. If you have been thinking about taking the Teacher Training Program, this weekend intensive is a perfect place to dive in and explore the fascia yoga principles in a safe and supported setting. *Please note that Module 1 & 5 are combined for the month of April 2022. Both modules will be a combination of self-study and live workshops on fascia principles and breath awareness.
