Science of Breath (Beginner) ~ April 19th

Practices that ground us into the present moment are crucial. It’s in our moment-by-moment attending to the present that we can reconnect with ourselves and the natural world. This is the state of being where it’s easiest to drop into harmony with the earth, our bodies, and perhaps to a source of strength greater than the individual self. In this session we will explore some beginner breath practices along with mindfulness based movement.

Myofascial Yoga & Kinetic Chains ~ March 15th

In this live practice session, our theme will be the science and practice of mindful movement for reducing stress.

During the guided movement practice our focus will be on how to use mindfulness-based movement for balancing ‘stressors’ with ‘resources’ and discovering directly how that dynamic balance plays out in your body and mind.

The guided meditation session will focus on tracking for specific resources are effective to your own unique wiring. (For example: some may find the felt sense of breathing to be nourishing, while others may use the grounding presence of the earth, while others may find visualizations or affirmations more useful.)

The intention of this practice session is to tap into your inherent sense of strength and resiliency so that those resources can become anchors during stressful times.

Time: (Mountain time zone)

10:00 – 11:00am ~ Joanne teaches Kinetic Chains!

*11:00 – 12:00 ~ Q & A or group discussion
