Are you curious about how mindfulness can improve your overall health and wellness?

Do you want to learn the neurophysiology of stress and the basics of polyvagal theory?

Are you interested in teaching mindfulness in your meditation or movement classes?

Join us for a three-day intensive teacher training to incorporate the science of mindfulness into your yoga, movement or meditation classes. This 25-hour mindfulness meditation teacher training, taught by Christine Wushke, will explore the intersection of ancient wisdom and modern science, including the neurophysiology of stress, polyvagal theory, and embodiment theory. By the end of the 25-hour training, which qualifies for Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Credits, you will learn the science and skills to be a confident and skilled meditation teacher equipped to guide others on their path to well-being.

“Mindfulness helps you come home to the present moment in order to touch the wonders of life that are available here and now.” — Thich Nhat Hanh

Drawing from classical yoga philosophy and grounded in a deep understanding of the nervous system, this 3-day training will offer you and your clients more freedom and peace in daily life. Taught by Christine Wushke, you’ll dive into various aspects of mindfulness meditation, including its history, philosophy, and practical applications. From ancient practices to modern research, you will leave the training with the knowledge and skills to lead transformative meditation sessions with confidence and clarity.

“Christine is talented in so many ways, from her expertise in myofascial release, her attention to creating a trauma-informed environment to her practice of leadership from a heart-centred perspective, I got so much more out of my first teacher training than I was expecting. It was a great experience!” – former student

In this training, we will cover topics such as:

  • The parallels between polyvagal theory and the 8 limbs of yoga.
  • How to create an environment of safety for your meditation and movement classes.
  • Gain a deeper understanding of the nervous system and its role in regulating stress, emotions, and overall well-being.
  • The value and practice of experiential learning, how to embody the teachings and integrate them into your personal practice.
